    Any "study" that shows hyperacusis (and tinnitus) cases improving with massive amounts of time are scams. Hyperacusis especially improves with time on its own.

    I think the Shore device will reduce tinnitus to a noticeable degree in about 30% to 40% of the users, plus some will have a placebo effect as well. Hopefully it works a lot better than the disappointing results of Lenire. I'm skeptical of any medication treatments anytime soon.

    I think Lenire works to some extent. The fact that some people who have tried Lenire say their tinnitus doesn't bother them as much anymore, for me, means some amount of success. Probably there are people for whom Lenire has worked but who are not here.
