That's the problem with this phantom pain.They can't see damage so they rule it out "and nothing can be done". In a diagnostic outcome you're technically better off with a loss of limb because.. well that's hard to miss. There is damage,they just have nothing that can measure and conclude it...

Having some form of PTSD and panic attacks (i think 10 of them over years) with potential over exposure to sound and medication there's many possible causes.IMO it's definitely my panic attacks that messed up my brain. (well in certain neurological pathways).

I actually had an audiogram up to 15KHz,they stopped because i couldn't hear anything above 14KHz. The reason why an audiogram uses a limited spectrum is because the speech volume very rarely goes above 8KHz.

You do realize you just gave the best indication of why it doesn't make sense to spend more on compensation than it does research.The brain is not that easy to explore,in the medical field it took a long time before they even acknowledged Tinnitus and this came from people within the medical field.

Welcome. my suggestion is nature sounds or any other form of audio (TV) or maybe even the radio playing in the back. Try to not set it too loud,just enough to have some degree of masking going on.
