As the title says... not sure if this is even pulsatile tinnitus but you never know. I have a severe fever by the way and this started during the fever's onset. So do you think I‘m describing pulsatile tinnitus or is hearing your „blood“ completely normal when you are sick?

I've read many times that hearing loss can be a cause of tinnitus yet here it says the opposite. If it's true that hearing loss causes tinnitus in the first place I'd like to read a reliable source of it.

Personally, I don‘t think the accupuncture is the reason why your Tinnitus spiked. It might not work for everyone, but it certainly does no harm. No, it didn‘t get worse. But...I do have to mention that before my tinnitus sounds gets decibels lower it always spikes extremely hard for a few days...

I did 5 sessions of acupuncture and I DID improve. Waiting for my sixth session. I'm also going to take Chinese herbs because according to my acupuncturist it will stabilize my T.

Update: my right ear has healed completely. Sometimes for a few seconds a ringing in my ear comes back but not constantly. My left ear has a mild ringing. I'm looking forward to heal fully.

I was wearing a hearing aid in just my left ear: it helped my T in my left ear, today I received my right hearing aid as well...and...well..it helped fixing my right ear and reducing the noise in my left ear even further! It's not totally gone but it definitely softened my T, yes even in quiet...

Since yesterday the sound of my T has changed: I hear no more a buzzing sound in my right ear. The ringing is still there though, the ringing in my left ear has softened a little bit.

Exactly today it's been 2 months since I have tinnitus, I had a spike today but it was much lower than usual. I think I can safely say that I'm slowly healing. Will keep you guys updated.

i really don't know. The next day I just woke up with tinnitus. My eardrums are still retracted and they hurt, I walk weird and I have a severe fatigue, perhaps this is the root?

Thank you a lot for being with me the entire time. I don't know if it's me but my right ear seems "cured". I can still hear it but very mildly. Seems like the nose spray did work in my case.
