Frequency Therapeutics — Hearing Loss Regeneration

my guess...i think we are all simply hoping they make it through clinical trials with some level of success in restoring hearing. if your T is related to hearing loss, then restoring hearing on some level may help with your T. it won't help everyone but it may help some of us. my summer relief...

Frequency Therapeutics — Hearing Loss Regeneration

thanks for the info as i was genuinely curious about this. this definitely increases my optimism if they can restore or improve my hearing loss at 8k hertz and above, it could effectively reduce or eliminate my t since i believe it's related to my hearing loss at those freqs. this thread is the...

    Pressure from Ear Muffs

No idea. Most everyone on here I've seen comment said that's what should happen when you put on ear muffs or ear plugs with T. I am however in a minority or a unique case where ear muffs completely get rid of my T. I'm still searching for an answer as well but believe mine is related to high...

    Tinnitus After Excessive Masturbation

I personally find it relaxing and allows me to forget about T for a while, well that or a shag with my wife.

Frequency Therapeutics — Hearing Loss Regeneration

so how would this relate to me where my T basically goes to a zero by wearing protective ear muffs? i have hearing loss at 8k hertz and above and none below. my T is mild but i feel its related to my hearing.

Have to Get a Basal Cell Skin Cancer Taken Off... Safe Antibiotics?

well i listened to loud music back in the 90s in college and i have measurable hearing loss at 8k hertz and above. i can also silence my T completely by covering my ears. i have a separate thread about that hoping to find anyone who can relate as i figured it was common.

Have to Get a Basal Cell Skin Cancer Taken Off... Safe Antibiotics?

when they shaved it off, it wasn't bad. when i came back for stitches, being poked to numb the procedure wasn't fun since they stuck me 8 or so times in a circle around the area. i couldn't feel anything from the procedure. after the novocaine wore off the later, i was sore for a few days. the...

Have to Get a Basal Cell Skin Cancer Taken Off... Safe Antibiotics?

I had 2 moles removed late last summer/early fall. One was a basel cancer mole. They gave me a one week antibiotic named cipro. I don't think it's related but my tinnitus started a couple months after but I believe its stress induced.

Frequency Therapeutics — Hearing Loss Regeneration

Internet trolls, we don't need them. :troll: More importantly, we don't need the negativity. The human body is a complex machine. Curing hearing loss isn't a question of IF but WHEN.

    Has Your Tinnitus Ever Stopped?

My T disappears almost completely every time I put on ear muffs or plug my ears with my fingers\hands. I figured this was common but maybe not?

Post Here If You Can Reduce Your Tinnitus

I don't know if its pressure related or not. ENT #1 said he thought it was stress related but asked if I could also hear my heartbeat which I cannot. He said I have excellent hearing (and better than normal for frequencies below 8k) but moderate to severe loss at 8k hertz. ENT #2 said he...

Post Here If You Can Reduce Your Tinnitus

I tried ear plugs and didn't like them. If I place ear muffs like the ones in this picture on my head, my T goes away almost completely while they are on me. Take them off and the T returns.

Post Here If You Can Reduce Your Tinnitus

My audiologist also gave me a chuckle saying I was definitely not a candidate for a hearing aid. I've read that has helped some people with T but I guess their hearing loss is more profound than mine. I only have it at high frequencies of 8,000 hertz and up.

Post Here If You Can Reduce Your Tinnitus

I feel my T is hearing loss related and was possibly induced by stress. Around the time it started, I had several things stressing me out: Building a custom house and stressing over when our move in date would be. It had been almost a year since we closed on the construction loan and our...

It's Not Your Hair Cells! It's the Stereocicilia and Resulting Ion Balance!

Are you an Otologist? Have you seen my charts? Of course I'd like to know and better yet, have it fixed. If I am being told by someone who doesn't know me or my health history my T is due to having an ion imbalance from living an unhealthy lifestyle, I would tell them they don't know jack squat...

Post Here If You Can Reduce Your Tinnitus

I know Tinnitus varies from person to person and it can be auditory related or brain related or something completely different. I'm looking to find others with similar T as mine. Does your T go away if you do one of these things: Put on protective head phones (i.e. the yard work or power tool...

It's Not Your Hair Cells! It's the Stereocicilia and Resulting Ion Balance!

According to my ENT, it's most likely related to hearing loss at 8k hertz and above. I lead a healthy lifestyle based on my diet and exercise so I would say your opinions its about ion imbalance is a bunch of malarkey. I'll trust the two ENT's I've seen over some random person on an internet...

    Confused About Masking

I will listen to the sound of rain or pink noise while at work. I find it can help in times when I am not busy or thinking about much. I've thought about listening to some jazz music in the background at a low volume as well. When my T first began, I started to wear protective headphones...

    Wrong Club

The first ENT I saw thought it was stress related and the level of hearing loss at 8k hertz and above has probably existed for a long time. I've read there are lots of different reasons on why T happens. Based on your list of items from stress to barotrauma, the only one that applies to me is...

It's Not Your Hair Cells! It's the Stereocicilia and Resulting Ion Balance!

Totally agree. Ions, Smions. The HDR does not seem to apply to me. I wonder why this thead is here as it seems misplaced. I mainly drink water, very low sugar intake, and salt and caffeine are moderate. I enjoy my cup of coffee each day. I cut it out for a week and noticed no change. In...

    Wrong Club

I apparently joined the wrong club where members suffer from Tinnitus. So here's a little bit about me: I noticed ringing in my ears back in October, 2016. I feel like it hit me out of the blue one day as I went to work. I did some googling, freaked out and made a couple of ENT appointments...
