I honestly can't relate. Sure because of the anguish of my T and H I have thought about suicide. Many here have. But I wouldn't do it because I love life. Its more like depressing this burden has been placed upon us which detracts from quality of life but certainly not enough to consider...

I have this. Two kinds. One in each ear and it's driving me to suicide :( I'd switch for a high pitched constant tone any day. Constant tones are almost a walk in the park compared to this (I have constant tones too). Does Carbamazepine really work for this?

Yes and it does nothing. That's not true at all in fact suicide is pretty moderate. Better than tinnitus at least.

Human beings are such that suicidal ideation is not uncommon. Committing one is. The brain must be messed up for a person to commit suicide, meaning a person has to have major depression... Nobody commits suicide only because of tinnitus.
