    Alright, thanks both of you.

Can a Ball of Fuzz Going Into Ear Worsen Tinnitus or Cause Ear Problems?

No one? If you got a piece of dust or fuzz in your ear, could it be harmful?

Can a Ball of Fuzz Going Into Ear Worsen Tinnitus or Cause Ear Problems?

Through a freak accident I think I got a small ball of fuzz in my ear! I was cleaning a dusty floor, and tripped on a rug. Didn't get hurt thankfully, but I think a (very, very small) bit of fuzz went in my ear. I kind of felt it go in, was a little itchy. Can't seem to get it out. It's...

Starting to Hear the Ringing in My Own Voice

Yeah, have had this too. My voice along with other sounds would make my Tinnitus increase, and it would quiet down again in silence. Very strange. Always goes away tho.

Is Using Earbuds for 10 Minutes at Loud Volume Enough to Damage Hearing?

So this morning, the numb feeling seems to be gone, and my hearing is fine. No change in T either. My ear feels really sore tho? Could that be a bad sign, or maybe just something unrelated?

Is Using Earbuds for 10 Minutes at Loud Volume Enough to Damage Hearing?

Thx for the responses guys, ears are still feeling funky. But, I don't seem to be hearing any differently nor has their been any change to my T. That has to be a good sign, right?

Is Using Earbuds for 10 Minutes at Loud Volume Enough to Damage Hearing?

So, had a bit of an incident an hour ago. I was watching a video on my phone using earbuds. I usually avoid them, but didn't want to disturb others so I used them. I guess the volume was pretty loud, because when I took them off, I could still hear noise coming from them (oddly the volume...

Feeling of Ear Fullness After a Bad Tinnitus Spike?

Yes, although for me it was a little different. Certain sounds would kinda just not get recognized for me, and get replaced/overlaid with like a beeping noise, kinda similar in time to my tinnitus. Kinda hard to describe/explain. But it was only with certain words/sounds. I kinda just figure...

Feeling of Ear Fullness After a Bad Tinnitus Spike?

Yes, exactly! My Ear would even feel slightly numb if I felt it or brushed it against my shoulder. If the fullness has gone, I think the sensation your having will too. Just give it time, and I think you'll get better.

Feeling of Ear Fullness After a Bad Tinnitus Spike?

Yes, I had the sensation to varying degrees for like a month after the fullness went away. I think it will fade like mine did (my guess it that it is Eustachian Tube Dysfunction). Can't guarantee anything, not a Doctor, but I think you will get better. If you are really concerned, couldn't...

Yes, it eventually subsided for me. Basically, the more I focused on it, the worse it got. Once I stopped paying attention to it, I found that it gradually went away, at least in my case.

    Sleeping with Reactive Tinnitus?

So, Tinnitus that increases with noises is Hyperacusis? What I experience is that sometimes, I will get a spike in my T, and with that, all sounds make the T louder, especially things like running water and fans. It actually increases and competes with those sounds. It can last anywhere from...

SMZ-TMP DS 800-160 Antibiotic Safe for Tinnitus?

Either this thread got overlooked, or no one really knows the effects of this antibiotic for tinnitus. In case it's the latter (and since I had not heard of the medicine before myself), I did want to say I am doing fine on the SMZ-TMP and the Prednisone. I am having some issues with my ears...

Is This SSHL (Sudden Sensorineural Hearing Loss)?

Well, I went back to my Doctor today as this was really bothering me. This time she did see fluid behind my eardrum, and said it is infected. It could be causing all my problems, and the medicine should help clear this up. Hopefully that'll be the case.

Firstly, sorry for creating so many topics here recently. I have simply been going through a month from hell with my ears. Anyways, I woke up a couple days ago (having slept on my right side), and my right ear had completely lost hearing. I checked in there, and dug out a massive amount of...

Aural Fullness Since Concert — Will It Go Away?

Requesting Urgent Help Before I Rush to Hospital/Doctors

Struggling — Today and Yesterday My Ears Have Been Rather Reactive

My Tinnitus is the same. When I have spikes, it's always reactive, and gets louder in response to noise. And just as you described, it calms down after the noise stop, almost immediately, likes it's in rhythm with it or something. So, it definitely exists. Just today I had the worst instance...

    Dysacusis (Hearing Distortion) etc.

I have TTTS (pressure and a vibrating sensation in my ear from loud, high-pitched noises) and PET (being able to hear my voice in my ear). Both tend to come and go, as has this distortion or "Dysacusis" or whatever you want to call it. Perhaps there is a link between all these conditions?
