25 Year Old Female / Vertigo & Tinnitus

Sorry I'm no expert, especially when it comes to vertigo, but we have a lot of experts here on the board, so welcome, just wait for the answers to come! For T 8 days is let's say fresh so there is a good chance that it will go away on its own but you should visit an ENT. As far as I know there...

Acoustic CR® Neuromodulation: Do It Yourself Guide

If acrn works for us temporary (for me it does), is it telling us anything about the architecture of our t? or is it more or less like a black box and we just don't know why it works?

I have the chance to take part here in Germany in two weeks, guess I should give it a try, hm? The results above are pretty mixed, can get better or worse so it seems. Don't mind the pain but the risk of t getting worse...

How Do We Lose Really High Frequency Hearing, 8-20 kHz?

Thank you Tamika, sad thing is here are a lot of people on the board who are even younger. Maybe there is a cure (or something close to a cure) before they turn my age, who knows, let's hope! :)

How Do We Lose Really High Frequency Hearing, 8-20 kHz?

That's interesting, because my t is also above 11,000, namely 14,700... Since we don`t know if we have hearing loss somewhere above 10,000 (there are no audiograms going up to 16,000 as far as I know) it's difficult to say, what caused the t, maybe the drop around 8,000, or maybe a hearing loss...

How Do We Lose Really High Frequency Hearing, 8-20 kHz?

So, is your t then somewhere around 8,000? My left ear gets pretty much the same graph :)

thanks, my t makes awful sounds around 14 kHz, that means I propably won`t find out if this is caused by hearing loss in that frequency range...

"I Would Not Believe Anyone Who Says That a Cure Is Just Around the Corner"

I see, ok, flower shirts disappeared, standards still here :) So you were also looking for an audiogram (o-16 kHz) and could not find a place where they do something like that?

"I Would Not Believe Anyone Who Says That a Cure Is Just Around the Corner"

Hey thank you, good information! Looks like they would rather pull a rabbit out of the hat than check if there is some hearing loss around 14 kHz :( I am pretty new to this forum so I don`t know what was discussed already: is it so hard to get equipment for such a test or are they just not too...

"I Would Not Believe Anyone Who Says That a Cure Is Just Around the Corner"

    Hearing Aids

Does anyone know which frequencies can be amplified with recent hearing aid models? I mean, any progress in the last few years? My t-noise is way above 10k, and I guess so is my loss, so that would be nice to know. All the best from Berlin, Daniel

    Hey There

After a few days reading through all these posts, I decided to sign up for an internet forum for the very first time in my life, wished the reasons were happier ones though :( I`m a musician (at least I was) and three weeks ago after practicing with my band (rock music, loud) I felt my hearing...
