    Hang in there boys! I advise you not to use masking white noise sounds if you have mild or low T since it can spike it! And dont forget to update us what happes with your T after some time! If you habituate or it fades away! Take care!

    But stress alone isn't dangerous and does not cause tinnitus. People are misleaded according to scandinavian studies.

    I just dont get this. A very respected tinnitus doctor in norway has said that stress alone does not cause tinnitus, it just makes it louder. Tinnitus is most likely caused of noise damage, u can actually be exposed to noise months ago, and get tinnitus later.

    Foam earplugs I believe has helped me not getting more spikes. Traffic and noisy trains are very loud here in the norwegian city. Now that I am vulnerable I wish not risk any further damage. Do you have any "noise reducing" earplugs with filter you recommend?
