How Did Your Pulsatile Tinnitus Start?

@Bessie Sorry to hear about your PT. please don't let the doctor dismiss you so easily. There are tests they need to perform to check why this is there if just started up for no reason. Go to whooshers.com too for more information and I hope it just goes away!

    I Find This Unbearable

First of all let me tell you that it will get better!! We all know what you're going through because we've been there! My T was also loud and high in frequency, and I also have hyperacusis. When I first got it my anxiety went through the roof!! Both my T and H have diminished with time as most...

    On & Off Loud Humming

Hello! Just wanted to put my story in here. I too suffer with this nasty hum and ear fullness along with sound sensitivity (toilets flushing, water running, paper rustling to name a few) AND very high-pitch tinnitus. I had an episode last year that went away and then in March of this year it...

What Is Life Worth without Hearing Normally?

Just because they're older, doesn't mean it's any easier to deal with. I do feel bad for people who get this in their younger years, but I'm also tired of reading posts that kind of express that if you're older it's somehow not as devastating since, basically, we don't have much more time to live

    Tinnitus via Vaping

@Flyka70 I've always wondered if my T and H had anything to do with vaping. I quit smoking about 2 years ago and started vaping. I never had anything serious going on with my ears other tan very mild T before that. I can tell you, I quit vaping a couple months ago and have not noticed a...

    Last Night Was Terrible HELP!

@Brandon joseph I've been there! Don't let the anxiety get the best of you. You will overcome this! You may need some medications to help you through it just at the start, then you can slowly come off them as you get used to it or the symptoms abate. Sleep is very important and stress makes it...

Suggestions.... What Do You Do for Headaches?

Absolutely! I remember my mom had terrible headaches when she had to give up caffeine because of a heart condition. You may want to try having some to see if it helps with the headaches without affecting the T. I don't drink caffeine so can't blame it on that.

    Hi There, All

@Peter D. Yes, we will!! I've read a lot about people using natural sleep aides (melatonin) to help with that, you should try it! I get the buzzing as well, cicadas is a good way to describe it.
