tape the sound of your T on your iphone. put that sound to your wife's ear for 1 minute. tell her that she only has to listen for it for 1 minute. And that you must listen to it every second of your life. Maybe than she will understand what T can do to a person.

Yes. The volume of my T is not the same everyday. On low days I can handle it and cope with it, it's livable. On loud days life is very difficult.

Bad news... sorry for you, I know what it is... But at least your END is honest. Tinnitus is in most cases chronical and will never disapear. My END gave me false hope, and that was not good, because the hope has exhausted me. So like me, I think the best thing you can do is read the success...
