Karen, an article in The Palm Beach Post mentioned that he had ringing in his ears since a Beatles concert in 1964. I had an actual newspaper and read that article. However, it costs to read it on the internet. I am very interested to see if the hearing aid helped his tinnitus.

Hudson, thanks for posting this. My tinnitus increases if I yawn, but only for the time it takes to yawn. I wonder if many others experience the same.

I've not tried an MP3 player. The SoundCure almost seemed to make my headnoise worse also. I think setting 3 was white noise and itwas the one I preferred. I think in the next ten years, there will be significant progress on sound therapy for tinnitus.

I would speculate that it will be 15 years before this research produces results that be beneficial to significant numbers of people.
