Any improvement? I’m having a terrible spike…hope it’s not my new baseline. I’m so sorry you’re suffering. I do believe it will improve over time. Big hugs
I had my second Moderna vaccine on 1/27. Tinnitus has always been in my left ear. Now I hear it in my Rright ear. Psychosomatic? Could be... I’m a nurse... I have no idea. People that get COVID-19 also say it worsens their tinnitus.
Who knows. Hoping it’s just a spike and will settle soon.
Hi Ken. I live in CT, 45 minute drive to NYC. I've had tinnitus for 6 years. I can't seem to habituate. It just gets louder and louder... or so it seems... any advice you can provide?
I’m currently having an incredible spike. Under very high anxiety due to a relationship break up. Can anxiety cause it to get so loud? How long do you think it will last? Thanks so much for your time, your advice and your understanding. I’m literally falling apart.
Michael. I have Widex hearing aids. They sync with my iPhone. I like to play low music directly through the hearing aids... Do you think this is a bad idea?
Hey Mike! Do you still wear the Widex? I'm on my second pair. They really don't do s*it, but I do have some hearing loss in my left ear. How loud is your tinnitus? Mine just seems to be getting worse and worse.
I've been using them for years. Tinnitus is no better, in fact its been getting louder. The chimes are rather soothing take my mind off the tinnitus slightly. They also cost 5k!!
I’m not sure how I got tinnitus... I do have hearing loss in my left ear. Getting off Lexapro... brain zaps... dizzy... insomnia... lasted for about 6 months.
I developed tinnitus years after I started Lexapro. I stopped taking it thinking it would help or stop my tinnitus... never happened... but getting off Lexapro was horrible...
I have a hard time with anxiety... I have it in my left ear as well... I don’t think it’s severe... a medium pitch hiss... but it causes intense anxiety and then I start to think I hear it in my right ear... I just don’t know what to do...
