Thank you for this reply. That comment was quite unhelpful lol. I actually ended up moving to a different dorm with alarms that are not inside of the actual rooms because the anxiety was causing me to spiral :( But thank you for your advice!

funniest part abt my T and VSS is that neither really bother me & i know i can adjust. its just never knowing when/how they might get worse.

update: clicking spike seems to have gone away. my hometown seems to ALWAYS leave to spikes. thank goodness im going back to uni soon <3

I also tell myself this! I have found that affirming to myself that the Tinnitus won't harm me and that I'm safe and okay helps a lot. I'll use the tiger analogy now too

It went fine. On the phone the hiring manager was quite rude, but in person she was calm and allowed me to just watch the videos without headphones and it wasn't a big deal at all! Glad I stood up for myself and I will continue to do so.
