Pulsatile Tinnitus Freaking Me Out — Please Help!

Hello, try not to panic because stress does make the noise worse. The likely hood of having a major illness as the cause is small. Just to be sure, I would be adamant about getting a MRI with angiography or a CT angiography. Also, an MRI scan of the internal auditory canal is not a part of a...

Trust me, I know it's hard. I started out seeing a doctor and getting Flonase which didn't help at all but eventually I found someone who listened. I'd research as much as you can and go in understanding that many doctors do not even know what Pulsating tinnitus is. I wish you luck in your...

I started taking sumatriptan for my migraines and 30 minutes after taking it, the wooshing stopped. Now I can turn my head and everything and still no whooshing! I wish it would last but I'm sure once the medicine wears off it'll come back.

My mom has a VP shunt and it has failed multiple times, but she had hydrocephalus. I'm trying to lose weight and if that doesn't work there is a medication to decrease spinal fluid. Pulsatile Tinnitus Developed While Taking Minocycline

I spoke to a radiologist about why my scans were not showing the cause of my PT. I found out that you need to ask for an internal auditory canal MRA not an MRI. I have had so many scans and after having the one for my ear canal, they discovered that an artery in my brain had looped around a...
