    Mine is high pitched as well. The only thing that helps is being distracted and having it go in the background, or listening to this when it's really bad. Maybe go to a dentist and have them xray your jaw/teeth to see if you have TMJ.

    Might sound strange, but when's the last time you seen a dentist and had them Xray your jaw/teeth? Maybe you have somatic tinnitus but only hear it during the circumstances you've described.
