I posted previously in this thread that my tinnitus spikes when I use weed. That was a while back. Now I tried weed again and I'm totally fine, no spike, nothing. I think the spike comes from your state of mind, and if you're not worried or anxious it probably doesn't affect anything. Weird...

in other news : i tried weed again. it doesnt spike anymore! i guess bc im not worried anymore? they really need to science this more

update : tinnitus at like 0.5. still have it. definitely improved from before but it doesnt really bother me anymore

Update: I got my braces installed. It'll be 2 years until I see my bare teeth again. I'm 4 months into treatment with the TMJ dentist and I gotta say: Tinnitus has improved. Not gone. Yet. But Improved. Other symptoms of TMJ like neck/back pain and jaw stuff also improving. I used to have...

BTW been trying to find similar stories of TMJ tinnitus healing, and im suprised how rare they are. i hope my story will help others like me

just got my braces. T still there. quieter than before though. dentist said it really takes time to heal. we'll see.

oh yeah. definitely slowly getting cured. for any new tinnitus cases, get your TMJ checked.

Month into mouth splint. Still got crickets in my ears. It doesnt mess w my head as much anymore tho

so for future record, tinnitus even caused by TMJ gets worse with weed. next experiment will be after im cured

weed experiment results : still makes tinnitus worse, even if casued by TMJ. T goes thru the ear still, and maybe weed affects that.

I had the first SINOVAC shot. No side effects. Second one coming next month.

Replying to this thread for future denizens. Friends, make sure to get your TMJ checked. By a specialist. A TMJ dentist basically confirmed it as the cause of my tinnitus, and that severe pain would be coming if I didn't get a splint and eventually braces. I'll let you guys know how treatment...

i think i figured out the weird spike. my ENT suggested i try not taking the myonal for a while. maybe its jaw tension
