@Lynny I had a wisdom tooth pulled after my T got worse. They had to do A LOT of drilling as my wisdom teeth are generally quite planted in place. My T was a bit aggravated for a few days but went back to baseline afterwards. I've got to get another wisdom tooth pulled soon which I'm putting...

They do allow 2 x back to back sessions if it is more convenient. Although the device is only configured to run treatment for 30 minutes at a time, so they advise you'd have to push the play button again as soon as the first 30 minutes has finished.

It's gradually getting quieter again yes, it's much closer to baseline than it was Friday night and I'm sleeping again mostly so that's a plus. Honestly, the treatment seems to have helped - each time I had a session the spike seemed much calmer afterwards.

Personally, it's certainly been more active since starting the treatment. More frequent fleeting spikes and much more activity in regards to daily variation in volume. Prior to that my tinnitus had settled to a constant and was rarely bothered by loud noises, mostly just lack of sleep.

They will accept an audiogram done within the last 2 months, IIRC. Anything outside of this is not an option as your audio profile can change significantly outside of that.

I didn't get actual figures from the consultant but they did comment to say my masking level is very low, meaning white noise works well for me.

I'd like to think it's related more to awareness increasing around tinnitus but I did hear a discussion on the radio recently which identified young males in their 20s and up as being the most effected these days. So you're probably right around it being iPods, Concerts, loud music in cars etc.
