Low-Pitched Humming / Droning / Rumbling Tinnitus — Mostly Triggered by Low-Pitched Sounds

Hello everyone, I've been reading this forum but now I created a profile hoping to find any support from others who have perhaps similar symptoms as I do. Humming started around nine months ago in my right ear. I might have also had similar symptoms before but on a smaller scale. What I hear...

    Low-Pitched Humming = Meniere's?

Hi everyone, This is a question for all those suffering from low pitched humming. From what I'm reading online (I know, Dr. Google is not my friend!) it seems like low pitched humming tinnitus is often associated with meniere's. Honestly, I was initially terrified at the thought of the humming...

My 4-Year Journey with a Low-Pitched Hum That Disappeared on the Same Dates, 2 Years Apart

I’ve been dealing with tinnitus for four years now. It started in 2021. At the end of June 2022, it suddenly stopped. For the first few days after it stopped, I experienced a slight tinny echo in my ear, which eventually faded. I thought the tinnitus was gone for good, but on September 17th, it...

After 6 Years of Coping with Tinnitus, I Developed a Low-Pitched Humming — Caused by Stress?

Hi everyone. I’ve had tinnitus for 6 years. At the start it was hellish but I somehow managed to cope. Eventually I got used to the noise and it fluctuated up and down. Sadly I’ve gone back to square one and my anxiety levels are tripled. I’m not coping as I’ve developed a low-pitched...
