Anyone Ever Have to Just Leave a Store Because It Was Too Loud?

I had to today. I was shopping at Aldi and it was busy, but there was a father with 3 small kids (all of them shoved in the shopping cart) and the kids were totally out of control, screaming, yelling, laughing, and the dad was egging them on, putting frozen vegetables on his head and dancing...

    PTSD from Acoustic Trauma Tinnitus?

Although I am improving from my acoustic trauma tinnitus, I almost feel like I have a form of PTSD when it comes to loud noise. When I'm out, I am always "looking out" for the possible loud noise, and try to avoid putting myself in a position where a loud noise might take place, and get angry...

Needless to say, I was not happy, but to make it worse, he started THROWING the broken dishes back in the tray. This really pi$$ed me off. We got up and left, (we were done anyway) with some choice words for him. Thankfully, my ears only rang for an hour. It is getting so loud out in the world...

Found Out a Co-Worker Completely Recovered from Noise-Induced Tinnitus

A quick success story: This week my wife got talking to a co-worker and the subject of earplugs came up. My wife confided in him about my acoustic trauma tinnitus (concert) and he told her that he had bad Tinnitus back in the 1980's from gunshots, and it completely faded away. He is around 60...

A Collection of Success Stories from Around the Web

This is a collection of success stories found. I don't know who actually compiled these but I tried to copy and paste them here. I had tinnitus really bad in my late teens. Then I stopped playing music really loud and stopped listening through headphones and in a couple years it became pretty...
