    Sound Absorbing Cubicles Are Torture

I work a job where I have to sit in a cubicle behind a desk for a lot of the day. This is the worst possible environment to be in for T sufferers. The longer I sit still in a quite room the louder my T gets and it makes it impossible to concentrate. Does anyone else experience this?

    High Pitched Hyperacusis/Distortion

Ever since my T started, I've also had distorted hearing. When somebody says anything with an "S" it makes a high pitched whistle that sounds too loud and stretches out too long compared to what I hear in my good ear. I get the same high pitched whistle when I breathe through my nose. Low...

Does anyone else get this? Google says it could be a perforated septum but my septum looks and feels intact. I think it might be Hyperactive or ETD. It does get annoying sometimes.

Feels Like a Bug Is Crawling Out of My Ear

Anyone else get this occasionally? I've been having bouts of it the last few days. It usually occurs when my TTS is acting up so I think it could be related to that. My T ear also sometimes feels wet or warm for no apparent reason.

How Much Does Your Tinnitus Vary on a Day to Day Basis?

Mine goes from about a 2/10 to an 8/10. It much worse when I haven't gotten much sleep for seveal days straight, and nowhere near as bad when I get over 8.5hrs of sleep. Was wondering if anyone is constantly at a 5/10?

Hi all, I am new to this forum but have been lurking for a couple months. I am an an electrical engineer in my early 30s. I have recently developed high pitched T and mild H in my right ear probably from cumulative acoustic trauma. It can get very unpleasant, especially on spike days. On...
