Has tinnitus made you give up any "bad" habits, bad being subjective of course. -I don't worry about minor inconveniences anymore and wish I had been less anxious in the past. Getting the wrong change by a few cents back from a sales clerk is no longer grounds for getting upset. Who cares...

    The EarPopper Machine?

Has anyone tried a product called The EarPopper. It is supposed to help clear ear fluid and help ears pop. You put the machine up your nose and it produces a suction/air which helps clear ears. I don't know if it is safe. https://www.amazon.com/EarPopper-Home-Version-Summit-Medical/dp/B01MU03MER/

At the moment, I am not doing anything to manage the T. No aids, no maskers, no meds. This will probably change in the near future, but right now I am doing nothing to manage the T. Is anyone doing this approach right now or decided to 'do nothing' about the T long term? It is an interesting...

    Meteorite Hits in Russia (On-Topic)

The first thing I thought about when I saw the news that a meteorite fell/hit in Russia was about the sonic boom that was reported. All I could think about was the hearing loss/tinnitus that might have resulted from that. Anyone else have this thought cross their mind? How conscious are you...

Do You Believe in God/a Higher Power? Does Prayer Help You Cope?

I believe in God. I used to ask God why I got tinnitus. Now I feel prayer/my relationship with God makes it easier to cope with T. I do also do more "practical" things like go to the ent, schedule tests, consider hearing aids if needed or tinnitus retraining.

How Old Were You When Your Tinnitus Started?

I did a search and didn't find this, so I was wondering how old you were whe you developed tinnitus? I was 32. I was always careful with my hearing. I never listened to music too loud, used ear protection when I knew I would be around loud sounds. Still, I got tinnitus at the age of 32.
