I Get Dizzy When I Insert a Finger in My Ear

Hi. It does not happen in my right ear. If my fingers are inserted in both ears (simultaneously), the sensation still only occurs in my left ear.

I Get Dizzy When I Insert a Finger in My Ear

Hi all. I have an issue where I get dizzy (with a bit of nystagmus), when I stick my finger into my left ear (gently pushing and pulling creating a small vacuum). I have no acoustic trauma or head traumas, but a bit mild tinnitus in the left ear (diagnosed 6 years ago by audiologist). Any help...

Why Can I Make My Pulsatile Tinnitus Go Away by Sticking a Finger in My Ear?

Thank you to all. Especially Greg for clearing it up for me. If I could re-ask, is it normal to have syncing heartbeats with either TTTS or MEM? Others seem to suggest that those conditions have a flutter or humm (not a heartbeat pulsating in sync).

Why Can I Make My Pulsatile Tinnitus Go Away by Sticking a Finger in My Ear?

    Tinnitus and Hearing Loss

Hi. If tinnitus is due to damaged hair cells...then logically, would tinnitus diminish as we age as the hair cells die off?

Subjective Tinnitus Compared to Age Related Hearing Loss

Hi all. I was once told by an ENT that tinnitus was due to bent or damaged hairs in the cochlea. 1) would he be correct? 2) My understanding with age related hearing loss is that some cochlea hairs die away ( ie not damaged or bent ). Thus, strictly speaking as time goes by, would that not...

Not Sure if Hyperacusis or TTTS

Hello. This is my first thread and would love some feedback and advice. Ive had tinnitus since 06 and never used to bother me. Now i have bilateral sensitivity to noises. But its not painful. I did a hearing test and they check the loudness for which i tolerated well (up to 90db). So they think...
