ginkgo did nothing for me. i will be trying vinpocetine. will report back if vinpocetine does do anything for me. but there are report with both working for some. it is always up to individual.

@Champ Yup there is. And i heard of a few others too. But the protocol used is actually the most important. We can be doing nfb but yet training the wrong parts of the brain.

Any chance to rearrange those parts of the brain back? I suffered a suddenly hearing loss of my left ear. But i have tinnitus on my healthy right ear too. So basically it does not really have much to do with the ear and everything to do with the brain yeah.

Hi guys. Does anyone hear any weird sound just by yawning or by rubbing the area outside your ear(ear lobe, etc) My tinnitus stays the same. But i have additional sound whenever i do the above actions. Thnks for your reply.

@briano that good news isnt it. oh well, at least they are doing something. whether it works for different individuals is basically base on their own cause for their onset of tinnitus i guess.

I see. Maybe neurofeedback is really not situable for tinnitus. But there are so many positive paper published for tinnitus. And we have 1 success story here in TT.

So didnt do a brain map before starting? Hmmm.. 8 sessions are very little for neurofeedback yeah. Did the therapist said that you are doing well in your training? Like whether you are getting better in getting the ratio they intended for you?

@Telis @Mikey Cliff @valeri Hi guys. Do you still remember what protocol did you neurofeedback therapist used? and which waves were they trying to alter? There are a few types of neurofeedback if LENS did not work, what about other types ?

I have been doing some research on my own for neurofeedback. I realised that there are specific brain waves that needed to be adjusted. The 'treatments' that you are going through got to be specific for tinnitus. If not all the sessions you did could be useless.

Hi. i had a sudden hearing loss in june too. went for HBOT and i recovered 100% of my hearing. but T remained. the chamber is relatively safe. Just remember to equalise the pressure. i believe the staff at your clinic will teach you how to do it. I hope you get better soon.
