At the moment it's really hurting when I swallow, not really sure what's causing it telis said it could be fluid but I'm trying to get to an ent but in the UK it's a waiting list of about a month

No I meant the ones you have when you swallow yeah similar to when you go swimming I guess, I don't get them when I get out the shower though, yes I have similar feelings of it reacting in the morning which is strange

Are they clicking though? As my doctor before told me if they click they are opening ok, don't think many doctors know much to be honest, well not the people I've seen anyway, can I ask if you're tinnitus is quieter in the morning?

Evening everyone I created a post the other day about my distorted hearing, which varies on a day to day basis, but I've got a question for people, when you swallow, do your ears pop every time and if so is it numerous pops or a single one, and also, sorry for so many questions, how loud is it?

Hi Nick, It's difficult to explain, if there's lots of people clapping on TV, or watching a football match on TV, it's as if I'm listening to it through a tube or a shell, it also happens with other sounds like kettle boiling or the shower running.

Have you tried anything to alleviate the ear popping?

No idea, in my left ear I've had it since 1996, right ear since 2004, my left ear never pops properly, like when I do the vasalva it takes ages for the air I've blown in there to come out

Nearly exactly the same as mine, although the past month I've got a new tone in my left ear that's low but amplified by other noises

@Hoturu can I ask what noises you hear from your tinnitus?

Ive been getting over a cold since christmas day and now Ive got a chest infection too, but yes I know what you mean about the tube noises, as i said to you in another post mine have been like it for about 11 years now, do you get any distortions of sounds?
