wow there are some great doctors in china, in the UK I went after 2 weeks of tinnitus. Doctor look at my ears and said come back in 3 months. Anyway congrats on quick treatment.

After my tinnitus I feel myself turning more to religion to help understand what is going on in my head. But I believe everything happens for a reason, me getting tinnitus - I know it was meant to happen.

0/10 no I don't think so. But sometimes it reduces considerably and I can sit and watch tv without an annoying noise. But sometimes it goes the other way and pisses me of.

You could pay to see a private one, north or south of the border.

I am happy to hear you feel better. I think we all come into challenges in life and this Tinnitus is a maybe a challenge, a test. I don't know. But I feel if someone can overcome Tinnitus, they can overcome anything else life will have to throw at them.

I wish there was an indepth medical study for researching T against trobalt. Seems better experience than most treatments out there atm.

I said give it a shot if you can get it. I am goin ask my gp this week and i am 6 weeks out also. Worth a shot, what you got to lose.

@Fangen i agree with what your saying. Acceptance being the best way to deal with tinnitus. But it is a lot easier said than done. I am in a constant battle with my mind. Part of me saying it will get better, it just takes time, don't worry. Another part saying your life will never be the same...

Being Positive is key. I think in the beginning if you are positive about the whole experience and convince yourself T will go away, then your brain won't latch onto T as much. Obviously easier said than done. :wacky:

I am definately more compassionate about people suffering. I used to think people with mental problems should just get over, I now see these people just want help and want to live a normal life like everyone else.

It makes me mad that there is no cure especially for veterans of war. They go out and risk their lives only to come home and be plagued with Tinnitus.

I woke up every 2 hrs last night, i am a real light sleeper. I don't think i would mind my T as much if I could sleep for 8 hrs straight.

I went to a doctor after 2 weeks and she said no cure come back in 3 months. So not much help:mad:

If anyone is looking an app to help sleep I use: "Relax melodies: Sleep & Yoga" , you can get it free on android store, not sure about ios. There is also a paid version but the free version has lots of nature sounds to choose from. I like to test different ones to see what works best for me.

Hi, I am only 22 aswell. Only had tinnitus a month now, mine is more of a static noise in the left ear. Tinnitus is a real rollercoaster of emotions, you never know but the tinnitus might disappear for us both. We are only young, so always have hope.

Im 22 and got it a month ago as well. What a coincidence:). I think a lot more people have tinnitus than statistics suggest. Just most people keep to themselves about it.

I would say my tinnitus is mild to moderate, it fluctuates throughout the day a good bit. Louder when I am stressed or anxious. But I find it difficult to ignore, unless I got some good tv or movie to watch.
