Hi Lane, Just FYI, the product you listed does NOT have Thimane Pyrophosphate (TPP) in it. It has regular thiamine, which is a different chemical. TPP is the coenzymated form of thiamine. Regular thiamine never helped me, only TPP.

Nope. It's not the same. TPP is the activated form of thiamine. Thiamine HCl needs to be changed to TPP in the body first before it can be used. Working theory is that some people can't do this, so it wouldn't work for T. Personally, Thiamine HCl never made my T better. Only TPP did.

I don't have this data. However, in the past I had been taking Thiamine HCl above the USRDA. This had no effect on my T. That is, I know my INTAKE in B1 was not deficient before I started on the coenzymated form.

I've tried both ways, and taking a bath just works better than soaking feet alone. I suspect it is because when you take a bath your entire skin surface can absorb the mag and thus you get a higher dose than if just the skin of your feet was exposed to it.
