Hi. No, it's too late (I'm almost a year in). If you're only 4 weeks in, please see an ENT as soon as you can. Not sure what the cause of your T is, but since you are in early days of this, the shots may be an option for you!

There are days when I don't hear it at all, and those are becoming more frequent. But, there can be something that suddenly sets it off, and I'll spike. It might last for a day, or a couple of days. The last really bothersome spike was on New Year's Day.

I was sitting in LaGuardia airport waiting for my flight, and I got two very weird, very sharp pains near the front of my left ear.

It's a possibility. I had a dental implant done on the right side of my mouth in December, and since then, I've been clenching on the left and doing most of my chewing on the left. Since the onset of T, I've stopped that!

I'm also thinking that maybe the pillow I've been suing since I moved is part of the problem. It's a really hard TV type pillow (you know, the kind with the arms). I wonder if it's bad for my neck and that's contributing to the problem?

I'm having the same issue. During the day, I at times barely hear it. At night, it seems to be thunderous (but I'm not sure if it's not my anxiety causing it).

I lived in NYC for over a decade and never had a problem with T. It's only since I moved to a much more quiet, suburban area that it's all of a sudden developed.
