Also I want to add that everyone should get custom fitted musician plugs... they let sound in so you can still hear things unlike regular plugs that make you only hear your tinnitus... best of luck everyone

I have musician's ear plugs from Westone... The best investment you can make... I can adjust the filter between 15 - 30 dB protection... I do anything I want with them and take them with me all the time.

yes....that's the part that is very hard to deal with....you need to try to mask it and finding something that does just enough is tough in the beginning....if you have an iPhone I would suggest downloading the app White Noise and try the cricket sounds or just go on YouTube and search for it...

i would suggest he try to get some sleep. I do experience moments of fleeting T and there was one time I got it extremely loud in my left ear. Normally the sound would go away after a few seconds but this time it didnt. I wasnt getting alot of sleep at the time due to work which i feel...

Thats normal man..resorting to a drug for just that aspect is just going to give you another problem in the long run..try using masking apps to help you get through the day

i disagree with some of the takes here...look i just got married this year and attended 5 weddings this year plus a bachelor party in NYC where i went to a studio and played drums (friends played guitars) and then went to loud bars and strip clubs lol. They were all at the 100 db range...
