Hi John, You might not need to come to Germany as this surgery is performed in many other countries. However please message me privately as I don't feel comfortable giving the name out in public. However please keep in mind that while this surgery might help with ETD it is by no means a cure...

    Eustachian Tube Dilation Surgery

I think it could help if you don't want T-tubes. When they dilated my tubes the ENT told me that fluid came trough my nose which means that I had fluid trapped in my ET although it couldn't been seen behind my ear drums before

    Eustachian Tube Dilation Surgery

True that there is no 100% chance of the symptoms improving. But seriously, the ENT was honest enough to tell me that and i'd rather try to improve my symptoms than to just sit there and complain. If there was a procedure with a 60% chance to improve our T i bet all of us would try it! For the...

It should last permanently at best. Once widened, the tubes do not just collapse back luckily. They are just like a muscle and can be trained. But you'll have to do Valsalva maneuver a few times a day in the first few weeks to keep them open on the long run. If they ever close up again, the...

Loud Environment, Tinnitus Is the Same!

Right?? It's insane how little people know about the dangers of loud music. When I first got T it didn't even come to my mind that I could use ear plugs at gigs/in clubs/bars because no one ever told me or did use them around me.

No there will definitely NOT be a cure before 2020. Any medication /medical device needs various stages of being tested before it is available for patients. Deaf... Is This Tinnitus?

Yes this is indeed tinnitus. It could still go away but especially with severe hearing loss it might stay for good. For now I would advise you to not listen to music with your earbuds and to go see an ENT to check if there is further hearing loss. If yes you might want to do a course of prednisone.

Could Blowing Air with My Mouth and Nose Covered by My T-Shirt Be the Cause of My Spike?

No but a panic attack of course could lead to a temporary spike. Just relax you'll be fine as soon as you come down. Do whatever calms you down, go for a walk or take a hot bath, watch a movie, anything that calms your nerves should help the spike settle down again.
