Right?? It's insane how little people know about the dangers of loud music. When I first got T it didn't even come to my mind that I could use ear plugs at gigs/in clubs/bars because no one ever told me or did use them around me.

Please see an ENT about this as soon as possible. Talk to your parents. You might have an ear infection. Don't worry at this point about the Tinnitus, it might go away after the infection is treated. Also for sure this has nothing to do with Ménière's disease

As you have fluid in your ears, have you thought about getting tubes? If the fluid is drained your T should improve significantly. I know you have really loud Tinnitus.

Nasonex works great for ETD. It's a cortisone nasal spray. If it doesn't work you need tube dilatation surgery. I will be undergoing this surgery later this year.

Seriously you can take NyQuil once or twice easily. You won't have a spike from that. If you are having a spike while you're sick it's from being sick.

Yes he will need drilling for the crown. For a crown the natural dead tooth is filed until it looks like the tip of a pencil. Then they glue the crown on it. But still, way less fuss than he would need for a bridge or an implant :)

You need the crown there is nothing to debate. The tooth will be dead, with time it will break. You need the crown to protect it. If you don't have the crown and the tooth breaks you'll need a whole replacement for the tooth (bridge or implant). Those are basically even bigger dental procedures...

Depends on the theater and the movie but you did the right thing. If it's an action movie with lots of shootings and explosions it's always saver to wear the ear plugs. Some movie theaters totally overdo it with the loudness too. If it's a smaller, quieter theater and let's say romantic comedy...

First guess would be emotional stress and anxiety. It makes our mind play tricks on us. Tinnitus is especially in the beginning extremely stressful and comes along with tons of unpleasant side effects due to the constant worrying, lack of sleep and fear.

Yes this is indeed tinnitus. It could still go away but especially with severe hearing loss it might stay for good. For now I would advise you to not listen to music with your earbuds and to go see an ENT to check if there is further hearing loss. If yes you might want to do a course of prednisone.

No but a panic attack of course could lead to a temporary spike. Just relax you'll be fine as soon as you come down. Do whatever calms you down, go for a walk or take a hot bath, watch a movie, anything that calms your nerves should help the spike settle down again.

Noise cancelling headphones don't soften the noises you are experiencing with your tinnitus if that's what you mean. They only work for external steady noises like aircraft noise during a flight. Some people say that noise canceling headphones make their T worse. But I haven't experienced that...

First step would be to consult an ENT to see if you have an ear infection or a wax build up clogging your ear. What you experience is indeed tinnitus. Hopefully in your case only temporary tinnitus!
