I didn't know this either @Davo! The ringing caused by anti-inflammatories eventually went away for me. It took a while though, about two months.

I have a ''eeeuuuuuuu'' sound (which sometimes fluctuates like eee--uuuuuu-eee--uuuu), crickets and high pitch ringing in my left ear, and a ''hollow'' sound in my right ear. Very tiring. Before I took the meds I only had VERY mild high pitch ringing, mostly at night.
