    @GregCA, I can't rule out a "hidden hearing loss". However, I can hear frequencies around the range of my tinnitus without issue. The sound just needs to be in a pattern and not constant so that I can recognize it as distinct from the constant tinnitus.

    I had extensive hearing testing done with a ATA audiologist and my hearing is exceptional and extends well beyond the range of my tinnitus.
