I heard of someone listening to crickets for masking, then later on his tinnitus copied the sound. This makes me afraid to use masking. Is it just an isolated case?

It’s only happened twice this morning but I had my fan off while this happened, I woke up to beeps that would last for like two to five seconds. Is it me or is it something in my environment? I hope it isn’t me. What do you guys think? I remember hearing the beeps before...

I have high-pitched tinnitus in various tones, and recently a louder low humming - I don't know if it was always there and I just didn't notice it but it's easily maskable (humming).

Great now I have a medium level low hum, it's easy to mask but still...

I am habituated except for when it hits nighttime. Split second spikes keep me from dozing off

Another good question is, would giving birth make it the T and hyperacusis worse?
