That's not always the case. I was totally completely fully habituated to my 40 dB hearing loss for 25 years until I got tinnitus and it got me suicidal for a very long time. I didn't even wear hearing aids for 25 years.

I didn't know it was suicide. I thought the family notified the community of his death.

FYI I take paracetamol which is considered pretty safe from what I've read here. It's the first time taking pain killers since onset and so far no change.

They have been pulled out. I explained my tinnitus to the nurse and he was very understandable. So far no change in my tinnitus, maybe a bit softer. No drilling needed.

I have an impacted wisdom teeth on both sides. Tomorrow I have and appt with an nurse to pull them out. They don't need a drill, they just cut them out. Should I do the surgery? Do you think this can possibly make my tinnitus any worse? What medication can I possibly take afterwards? Thanks...

I experience the same for sure. Yesterday I was for business in a loud house. I'm worried but my tinnitus was MUCH lower that evening. This summer I went to a loud party and drink a lot of beer, the day after was the quietest in 14 months of tinnitus.

Where do you find those studies?

Just slept for 9,5 hours after a night of no sleep because of stress from business. Feels great

My tinnitus has been a lot better the last week. Hope it stays this way or improves further. Developed eye floaters but never bothered me.

I can hear my tinnitus always. But it fluctuates a lot. Sometimes it's a bit softer than usually but I can still hear it always. But to me it's comforting then. So I think what's intrusive to others can be at times comforting for others.

I guess If the decreasing is temporary then the increase is temporary too. But no one knows for sure.
