hi there,i know exactly what you mean and i have fleeting tinnitus very often-but attention-this is NOT what i am talking about!fleeting tinnitus means a louder tinnitus than usual for about 10 seconds-my problem in this thread is not that it becomes louder for 10 seconds like with fleeting...

the most scary thing about my tinnitus is this: lets say i listen to SILENT radio music with headphones-all normal,dont hear ANY tinnitus,cause the silent music masks it-then,suddenly i feel it in my head for just one little second like if the tinnitus would "fall down to the floor" in my head...

sorry, i have to disagree here. we cant take pills for every little fear we have in life,we should better learn to overcome them and be stronger afterwards. cause the "little tablet" is not a piece of chocolate.

i use sleepphones-flat speakers in a fleece headband-without them,i would not have survived my first two months of tinnitus ! with them on ,you can sleep on your sides and feel NOTHING between you and the pillow,the speakers are that flat ,they are amazing.

i have it too! i got it the same day my tinnitus started two months ago! every time i touch my right ear the tensor tympani vibrates for a second, or with certain sounds, like paper or some deep sounds!
