We have a common situation. Worsening of tinnitus and hearing after almost a decade of living a normal life again. But it's get better in time and hope yours will.

A guess. I tried Ginkgo biloba and it helped me a bit, lowering down its volume or intensity, but it doesn't last long though.

Have you tried taking vitamin B or Ginkgo biloba? That might help with your situation.

i have the same experience when my drummer hit the simbalce when we are playing in our church and i didn't wear my ear plug. sometimes its bad and some other times it calms down and the only relief that i can have is when im listening to music or going out with my friends.

I have mine in right ear and after 4 weeks, the both ears ring and the noticeable is the right which has variety of sounds.

Dont worry, everythings gonna be fine. it take a little big time to accept the condition and get habituate to it.

Have you undergo to a surgery where they put some sort of wires in you vagus nerves? How long have you used the vagus nerve stimulation and does't it make the sound of your T lower?

I think listening to some praise and worship songs and playing the sim3 helps me to not think of it. But I think ginkgo biloba helps also.
