Thank you, it has been the same since it all began, it was just a matter of adjusting all over again. No more boosters/vaccinations since then, I just cannot take the chance. A very personal decision, of course. ;) If you do get close enough for a photo, perhaps try to tackle him (you can do...

    Clonazepam (Klonopin, Rivotril)

A fast taper is very unwise, instead, a slow and steady taper is advisable. Cold turkey is never suggested when coming off of a benzodiazepine. The resulting withdrawal symptoms can be much more intense than what you are dealing with right now.

Please Don't Say There's No Cure for Tinnitus

Yes, this is the best thing we can do. We can also try to comfort one another when the chips are down and hopelessness sets in, rather than pointing out their faults. Sometimes a new start isn't about a new treatment, it's more about a new mindset. I will now take my leave. Wishing everyone...

Please Don't Say There's No Cure for Tinnitus

Yes, everybody is different, isn't this the truth? The frustrated and suffering members on this forum may find it very difficult to see their way clearly to a hope for a cure in their lifetimes. I am one of them, admittedly. We are entitled to our beliefs and this forum is here for all of us to...

I believe that a cat always wins, @Michael Leigh. ~.~ The mouse that my cat swallowed was a baby, tiniest thing, ever. It all happened so fast. It took me a long while to warm up to him again. :cautious: "Cats are kindly masters, just so long as you remember your place." —Paul Gray

    Clonazepam (Klonopin, Rivotril)

I think all benzodiazepines help with the anxiety that we experience with our tinnitus and much less to do with the actual lowering of the volume. Of, course, other's will have varying opinions based on their own experiences. It's my belief that there is no way to physically lower our volume...

    Who Here Owns Cats?

Great story, @Michael Leigh, I thoroughly enjoyed it. The photo of your cat perched on the balcony railing made me a bit nervous. Cats and high places! If I may say @Mins, you are not letting anyone down, this is something that happened to you, it is not your fault. My coping strategy has not changed since being diagnosed with tinnitus. Doctors, ENTs and audiologists had no suggestions for me. What I was told was to go home and research CBT...

Yes, I have read much the same information and I agree that the impact for hearing loss is much worse in unvaccinated people. Yet, here I am, triple vaccinated and in the throws of the worse tinnitus spike I have ever experienced, and hearing loss added to the mix. This is due to the booster...

It took me a good 4 weeks, from beginning to end, to lose the cough and for my voice to sound normal. Even now, if I go for a walk in the cold weather, I cough for a good 20 minutes once I get home. So many times I heard people say that the Omicron variant was a milder one, not in my case.
