Tinnitus Worse from Using AirPods Pro / Further Worsening After Dentist Used Ultrasonic Drill

@NootNoot, did your spike from the dentist drill go down? If so, how long? I suffer from tinnitus and hyperacusis, I think relatively severely, I habituated recently (after near 3 years) but a trip to dentist has caused an increase in both tinnitus & hyperacusis - it's been 5 days or so and no...

Hyperacusis 2.5 Years Later: Any Hope of Improvement? Any Preferable Treatments?

I've had relatively severe tinnitus & hyperacusis now for 3 years and I recently had a spike (5 days ago) caused by dental noise. It's pretty quiet in the morning (still notable) but after 2 hours or so it's pretty loud and intrusive again. Is this a good sign? Not sure what to think.

How Can You Habituate to LOUD Tinnitus?

@Jrblovsky, I have severe tinnitus and hyperacusis and I'm in my late 20s. For me, it took me around 3 years to habituate but there were positives and good vibes along the way— not much before the 1st year though. It's a rough ride.

My Tinnitus Keeps Switching Ears: Does It Mean My Tinnitus Could Be Temporary?

@brettbolt, I think any improvement in tinnitus — whether it quietens downs and/or shifts ear — is a relatively positive sign for the long term. It's always hard to tell but I would take fluctuations as a good sign.

Hyperacusis 2.5 Years Later: Any Hope of Improvement? Any Preferable Treatments?

I have quite bad tinnitus and hyperacusis - the last few years have been very much up and down and while I feel I have habituated to the tinnitus somewhat, the hyperacusis still creates mental drain, a short fuse and day to day stress. I'm only 28 and worried about living the rest of my life...

@Adriel93 I feel my H & T started at the same time and also worked in tandem the whole time. I still have my H now but it took 6-8 too "quiet' down. I first noticed it improving in the mornings, by lunch it was back to normal and evening slightly worse. By week 10/11 is was 70% improved, still...
