That is true. Neuromod uses the tongue, Minnesota uses the ear (though Lim in his research mentions the tongue as a good pathway as well), and Michigan uses the jaw and neck based on where you can modulate your tinnitus.

That is what they found in the trials. Most people with hyperacusis were "super responders". Interestingly enough they told a few users they aren't seeing that correlation as much with the release now.

Donny this is simply not true. Their trial criteria states "Diagnosed with somatic tinnitus resulting from head or neck injury." If they excluded people with somatic they would be excluding 70% percent or more of all tinnitus sufferers. Trial Info

I got a response back from Neuromod this morning. It came back from an Audiogram Review email address. There was not much information in the email other than saying we look forward to seeing you at your appointment in November.

I would assume so Alice. The only other thing I could think of is that they are trying to streamline the appointment to get more people through, so if you have a recent audiogram they wouldn't require another one at your appointment.
