I have 2 of them :) but yeah. Chronic pain is probably the worst ever. Literally 1000% hell. And like with tinnitus the medical field is totally useless. But the good thing my chronic pain is slowly subsiding with all the things I do. Hopefully tinnitus goes away too but I am less optimistic here.

Prostatitis is usually misdiagnosed and is pelvic pain instead. I had CPPS 8/10 pain and ED and cured it with stretching. Doctors have no clue when it comes to this desease. Did they find bacteria?

I have kind of the same experience. I had chronic pain and suffered tremendously. It's far worse than what my mild tinnitus is now. Anyway after all that stress (took about a year) I thought to myself wow I just had so much stress I wonder why I don't have tinnitus now. And boom there it was.

What I still don't really understand about tinnitus: Normally: hair cells die slowly, brain has enough time to adapt so no tinnitus emerges. Enormous Stress: hair cells die much faster because of glutamate or whatever OR stress & anxiety changes auditory region of the brain OR both?

Well yeah. But besides tinnitus I went through pain like giving birth for 4 months and a lot other shit. I might have shortened my live span with this stress by a decade. Hard to not think about it.

Chronic pain like CPPS can be MUCH MUCH MUCH worse. Well I rather have mild CPPS than a severe tinnitus but other than that...

I got CPPS (chronic pelvic pain) from thinking I got an STD. Stressed out over it and boom here we go 6 month of misery.

Basically just start stretching and yoga now for the rest of your life and avoid high stress triggers and you will be fine.

Another question for the tinnitus veterans here :) Say I actually do recover from tinnitus. Is it my brain repairing itself? Or is my brain adjusting to it? Because the cells itselves can’t be restored as far as I know? So I'd be always more likely to get it again?

Wow. You maybe was unlucky to be naturally prepositioned to get tinnitus then. I wanted to die every single day for half a year. Now I'm sad that my mental capability to deal with trauma wasn’t better. We all carry our weak spots :/.

I noticed when I clench my jaw with much force I can hear a new tinnitus pitch, also my jaw clicks when I open it wide. Did the stress cause my jaw muscles to tighten and therefore cause tinnitus?

Hey I did go to massages, I did meditation and Carnio Sacral Therapy more to calm my nervous system and get rid of chronic pain. I'm not in pain anymore. But I had so much stress I wonder if it changed my brain structure or if cells died that caused the tinnitus.

I took 7 days of doxy, 7 days of cipro and one shot of another antibiotic. Then I got Seroquel because I couldn’t sleep at all. It's definitely from stress &pain & guilt &depression & anxiety.
