My tinnitus began after taking Lexapro. I quit after two weeks with minimal tapering and exactly five days later I had vertigo. 10 years ago I took Zoloft and had no problems. Make sure you see a psychiatrist, and not your GP.

All I will say is try to take it easy. I too am bipolar and I know tinnitus poses an extra serious risk to us. I treat my depression first, tinnitus second.
