Thank you for this post Cojackb. I have my appointment on Friday, I fully understand that there is a possibility of worsening of the tinnitus during treatment. I am, however, prepared to take the risk for a reduction in this damn never ending screech.

Hi Allan, before you do take a break give Lenire a ring and ask for advice. You may be undoing any improvements that may not show until later. From my understanding it takes a few weeks to take effect.

As far as I am aware it seems to take around 6 weeks before there is any noticeable difference to the tinnitus. There may be little to report in the first few weeks.

The people who have had their initial assessment have nothing to report yet. They would be bombarded by loads of questions that they cannot yet answer. I am sure we will all have more information when the device starts to be used.
