Lenire — Bimodal Stimulation Treatment by Neuromod

It's been ages since I was on Tinnitus Talk. I literally can't believe the Lenire thing is still going on. I was one of the very unlucky ones that got Lenire first. It worsened my back-then mild tinnitus to an unspeakable level. It's not just fraud and scam, it literally can make you incredibly...

I don't want to sound disrespectful or anything but doesn't anyone else find it odd that this whole forum has based all the successful devices, research etc on only and exactly two people's testimonials (@kelpiemsp and @linearb if I am not mistaken)? I have never heard of anyone else getting...

My Doctor Won't Prescribe Prednisone, Saying I Could Die If I Got COVID-19

Hello, My doctor won't give me Medrol (Methylprednisolone) in fear of COVID-19 after big tinnitus worsening due to sound exposure. I got a huge worsening due to high volume speaker (with earplugs on!) and got on a call with my doctor who other times prescribed me immediately a Medrol 16 mg - 6...

Lenire — Bimodal Stimulation Treatment by Neuromod

I'm so sorry to hear this. I hope it subsides eventually for you. I'm developing an increase in my tinnitus and I'm just 5 days in. Have any other Lenire users experienced an increase in their tinnitus? I'm not talking about a temporary increase after the session, I'm talking about a permanent...

Lenire — Bimodal Stimulation Treatment by Neuromod

Yup sounds about right, thanks for the info. May I ask you guys another thing? It's my fourth day of doing the treatment (30 minutes a day) and this morning I woke up with my tinnitus quite increased. Is it normal? It's the highest it has ever been and I'm kinda terrified.

Lenire — Bimodal Stimulation Treatment by Neuromod

Oh sorry, I misunderstood. Hmm, that sounds like it may be a bit of a problem. Mine doesn't interrupt the Lenire treatment sounds at all. I guess you should probably contact Neuromod and find out what's the problem.

Lenire — Bimodal Stimulation Treatment by Neuromod

Really? I was told that it is the PS1 setting, is there a chance the settings sound vary but it is still PS1? What you're describing sounds very different from mine. Mine has 4 sounds all playing at the same time. 1. A white noise. 2. Some subtle liquid drips, like water dripping. 3. A piano...

Lenire — Bimodal Stimulation Treatment by Neuromod

Hello everyone, I started my Lenire treatment today. I'm wondering about one thing. Has anyone with real hyperacusis tried the device before? Everyone says that the sounds are very soft and don't with their hyperacusis, but my Lenire has this specific sound, the main sound (apart from the...

I'm not 100% my spike was from Lenire because other things went down as well the last few days, that's why I didn't post on User Reviews. Sorry if I wasn't clear. I'll wait for my spike to ease down and continue my treatment.

Lenire — Bimodal Stimulation Treatment by Neuromod

I purchased Lenire and yesterday had my first session. I have mild tinnitus but pretty bad hyperacusis. My hyperacusis spiked immediately because of the white noise in the treatment sound. Has anyone with hyperacusis had problems using Lenire? The last thing I want is to mess up my hyperacusis.

Tinnitus Worsening After Two Tablets of Zithromax (Azithromycin)

Thank you for the reply, i am in shock, it's crazy how two pills can cause so harm. I'll take some NAC and prey for the spike to calm down, even just a tiny bit could make a huge difference. What a horrible drug, i recommend anyone to avoid taking it, i should have made some research here before...

Tinnitus Worsening After Two Tablets of Zithromax (Azithromycin)

Hello, I took two tablets (250mg) of Zithromax (Azithromycin) yesterday and my tinnitus got at least doubled and I don't know what to do. I won't take it again of course. Is there anything I can do? Will the spike go away or is this my new baseline? Could NAC help at all or could it make it...

Hello, I received a call from the Neuromod team. They told me that due to COVID-19 all appointments will be made remotely via video call. This is a dream come true because I wouldn't risk flying with the virus and all. Am I the only one knows about this?

Really sorry for what you're going through, please consider other options, i'm sure going deaf is not a solution. Get in touch with Dr. Silverstein Institute, there's a procedure going on there that helped some people. I was like this a couple of years ago. Still have hyperacusis and will...

Can One 0.25 mg Pill of Xanax Cause a Tinnitus Spike?

Yes, exactly, flight anxiety was my last major spike. I went from a 5/10 to 7/10 in just one flight. I'll take half of 0.5mg that my doctor prescribed to test it first. If all goes well i'll pop a whole pill before the flight to be safe and to avoid the extreme flight anxiety.

Can One 0.25 mg Pill of Xanax Cause a Tinnitus Spike?

    The Limits of Audiograms

Hello everyone, I was thinking about the efficiency of audiograms the other day. Every audiogram I have had before on ENTs was tonal. Meaning specific tones in a wide range of frequencies and volumes. According to them my hearing is fine except a hearing damage reduction of 10 decibels on...

@Liz Windsor My apologies, I've misinterpreted the 'uncomfortably loud'. I have hyperacusis and tinnitus and I'm terrified in the thought of this having a bad impact on my sound tolerance which is already very low. To anyone battling with tinnitus I want to say something, it can get much...

Hello everyone, New here. I have had hyperacusis and tinnitus for many years. My first assessment in order to purchase Lenire is in late October. Should I be worried about the noises and the threshold test for tinnitus masking? This might trigger my hyperacusis. Can anyone with hyperacusis...
