Did your ears feel clogged after the concert?

I’m 26 and I have it in my right ear. It came on about 6 months ago and just like you, I’ve had days where I feel completely suicidal. I’m struggling to live with this and wake up everyday hoping it goes away.

Did the ear fullness ever get better for you?

I have the same thing in the morning. Does it stay that sound all day, or fade away for you?

Oh gosh that’s awful.... I’ve noticed if I go to sleep without any background noise/complete silence I’ll wake up with my ear (the t is only in my right ear) literally screaming at me. If I keep the tv on, or have something in the background it won’t be as bad the next morning m.

That’s exactly what I have - it’ll usually take a few hours and will go back to normal when it happens, but it just feels off this time.

I’m going to give the doctor a call on Monday, but I’ve had this happen before and the doctor said there’s no change in my hearing and my ears are clear. You never know might not be the same as last time. I haven’t been around anything loud lately either.

For some reason I woke up today and have this feeling like I can’t hear properly. Almost like the feeling you get after going to a loud concert or bar. I’m really freaking out about this. Anyone else ever experience this? What should I do?

What is life like for you? Is it hard to go out, explain the hearing aids to friends/people who cross paths with you? Do you still go out to bars or clubs?

I feel the same the only thing holding me back it the thought of hurting others around me just can’t do it as much as I wish I could.

Another thing that I find super weird - when I drink water, or anything it makes my ears feel really full. Do you have that?

I’ve been having the same issue! Don’t know what to do. I had the ent check check with the machine that measures pressure and they said it was fine. Can’t understand where the clogged feeling is coming from.

My doctor prescribed Paxil for me to decrease the tinnitus and I’m not diagnosed with depression. Just have anxiety from the ringing in my ears. Very nervous to try it because of everything I’ve been reading

I’ve noticed there are a couple different types of ear plugs. The foam ones and others that reduce the loud sounds with filters and help so you can still hear others talk. Which would be better to use?

I’ve noticed recently some regular sounds do sound amplified/hurt my ears a little more then they used to. The hearing test picked up that I have high frequency hearing loss, but I’ve always had that since I was a child.

Yes, I went for the hearing test about a month later and that’s when my ear started ringing. Maybe it wasn’t a direct reason for it, but just a little confused how it could happen like that.
