I do have slight hearing loss to my left ear so I think thats what causing my T.

This happen to me January 2014. Heard a loud pop but didnt think it was something important but a couple days later my left ear started ringing. It hasn't stop since.

I've been playing soccer to distract me from T...for me it only spikes a bit but goes back to my normal T. Go out there and play man. Don't let T disrupt you fron what you love the most!

I've been taking naproxen for my headaches and it hasn't affected my T levels. To be honest I feels helps out with my T.

Im seeing a neurotologist in London, On in october. His name is Dr. Lorne Parnes and I heard he's really good.

Has anyone experienced temporal pressure or dull pain along with T? I have T in my left side and I feel that my headache has something to do with my T.

I'm confused with these musician ear plugs. Will they make you safe going to a club or are they as effective as foam ones?

I totally understand you Grace. I'm at that stage where I am very cautious with my ears and going to a club is not an option of me. Its just not worth the trouble after. I'm planning in purchasing custom fitted musician ear plugs soon, I don't know if they will do the job for me but i'll give it...

If you can't stay asleep I recommend you get sleeping meds so you at least get some sleep. (I take imovane here and there when I really need it)

I take one tablet every night along with camomile tea half hour before I go to bed. It works for me.

For sure you're heading the right direction Maddy! Thats exactly what I do in the shower is think about all the positive things in life :)

Four months in my left ear but so far nothing on my right...idk if my T is getting better but for the last couple of days its just been a low hum (like a fridge) little hiss at times.

I just have it in one ear....idk if thats a good thing lol

I wonder how many of us here have T in both ears or just one...

I found the nasal spray made my T worse...try just plain nasal spray over the counter.

I just want to protect my ears as much as I can from now on....I only have t on my left ear so I want to protect the right one as much as I can

Does anyone have musician ear plugs? I would like to know if its worth buying so I can wear them to a bar or something?

I forgot to mention though I always use my humidifier which makes some little white noise just to mask some of my tinnitus! Maybe the humidifier does some effect but it works for me.

They are very supportive. At the beginning I never told them about my situation thinking I would stress them but...

Right now even my co workers have noticed me behave differently due to my tinnitus but I did mention it to them and showed me support. I guess sometimes even talking to others about your situation makes you feel better.

By any chance when you guys were trying to fall asleep did your heart start racing? I just can't get over that I have tinnitus! Even my girlfriend has noticed that ik different with her now.

I will see my doctor tomorrow and see what he can prescribe me.... Luckily where I live health care is free. I have another ENT appointment on may 6, hopefully he can do a microscopic assessment of my ear since that wasnt done on my first appointment.

I will try that...but one thing that really gets to me is the anxiety

Thanks man...ya this tinnitus came out of no where. I already seen an ENT doctor and they said nothing can be done and pretty much I have to learn to live with it. Im reluctant in taking meds but I think its my only choice right now :(
