Extremely Reactive Tinnitus and Listening to Music

Picked up a cheap spl meter today. Probably should have done that years ago. Looks like I monitor around 60-75 most of the time. Will sometimes turn up to 80-85 for a segment or a run through. Reworked my speaker setup for better triangulation. Also think I have a sinus infection that is...

    Tinnitus from... I Don't Know!

Seems like you have a great outlook on it. I hope you continue to take it in stride. I imagine not knowing the cause can be difficult. My mothers side of the family had it and claimed they didn't do anything to cause it, so I wonder if there is some hereditary influence.

    >> I truly think I have a lot of amazing things to enjoy yet in life to give up for this. That is the attitude that works for me. I found that just accepting it and trying to move on has been my only cure so far.

Extremely Reactive Tinnitus and Listening to Music

Hi all, also a musician, former amateur recording engineer and mixer and now trying to improve my musical skills and get into composing. I am learning theory, composition and how to play piano currently. I've had ringing for nearly ten years. Went to see the ear doctor a few years in to check...
