so who's had the most success with trobalt, apart from dannyboy? I read somewhere that viking had 70% relief but had to stop using it, a shame. who knows, trobalt could be better than aut0063

well, let's all hope we hear something good come out of the autifony trials. agreed, dannyboy is yet to come off RTG but at least he's been able to report undeniably good results and from quite early on. So it would be heartwarming for someone on autifony trials to tell us it's not just good...

I guess we are all waiting for feedback from an autifony trial where the person says "yeah, it nuked my tinnitus" ...something definite like that would be nice (we have had this with trobalt...see dannyboy)

it's possible you've just got the placebo. we're much hoping to see great things with aut63 at the moment, trobalt is yielding better results!

so we need to closely watch Dannyboy once he comes off RTG hopefully it'll be good news like it was for mpt

next question... how may people do we know on the trials, inculding other forums? is there any way to increase the number of trial responders on forums?

can anybody guess the earliest we are optimisitcally likely to hear any feeback from the autifony trials? NOT from official figures but from individuals on the trial who post their progress for example if some trialee's tinnitus diasppeared, he or she might post it here to let us know.

to the best of one's knowledge dannyboy's story has probably been the most successful to date. and even if he needs to keep using it, many drug therapies can still be considered successful in such light if the goal is to bring relief.

good point. but trobalt seems to be doing more than getting people high there have been solid reports of tinnitus and hyperacusis levels lowered maybe, properly managed, trobalt could bring long-term relief this is why i've considered it as part of a rotation regime maybe even the new autifony...

what dose are you taking? i understand different doses achieve diff results anybody know about Dannyboy? apparently it's turned his life around for the better.

@dan i havent taken any klonopin for a while no point until i can get rotation set up as i remember the pills come as 0.5mg i'd take maybe 4 or 5 of those and be in a better place now I can't do that everyday of course i'd say at a high enough dose it reduces the tinnitus i believe its a...

hello my friend, hope you are okay it's interesting, a big enough dose of klonopin dampens my tinnitus/perception of it to make things more manageable, similar to lyrica it's not perfect but it's something i've just needed to find different classes of drugs to rotate it's tough right now, how...

the point is this approach leaves you very strong and stable, rather than being over-dependent on one drug. taken once in a while, lyrica and klonopin are VERY powerful suppressors of tinnitus. The mistake is to take them everyday.

When I try Trobalt I will ROTATE it with other drugs that suppress my tinnitus. This means I will not develop tolerance, will not need to keep increasing dosage to maintain potency and will not need to taper off, avoiding negative withdrawal effects. MONDAY Trobalt TUESDAY...

i am not angry! I am very grateful that you have found keppra thank you very much for trying it...it seems like an amazing breakthrough especially since it targets kv3 like autifony's new drug.

everyone should keep close eye on Viking's keppra thread, link above. its an alternative to trobalt that apparently targets same spot as autifony i thought autifony drug 63 was unique anyone know about this, can explain? thanks it's a great find.

btw hearing tests do not cover your full hearing range so you may have hearing loss even if your test is 'perfect' this is commonly the case

please post links to studies linking keppra to helping tinnitus this is what we need to show our doctors to get it off-label, unless we can take the mood stabiliser route...i don't have a neuro, just my gp question...auitfony drug was supposed to be first in class ie the first drug to do a...

with trobalt, dosage is critical the european paper looks to 1200mmg/day as optimal so it's good you increased dosage what you need to do is keep the increase regular to cement those changes keep us posted

wow, trobalt sounds like a miracle drug + it's working on tinnitus which is OVER 2 years old. are there any other similar cases? note: 100mg is low dose. maybe a higher dose would make effect last longer/even permanent?

from what i read in the european journal of pharmacology paper (Calvin Wu,2014), the dosage needs to be a minimum of 1200 to work effectively to shut down tinnitus. maybe well see better results from more people at the therapeutic dosage.

hi steve, i've mentioned this before but maybe with insufficient emphasis lyrica reduced my T substantially for a few hours and is good for sleep taken longterm its safer than benzos try it, you'll be surprised

MPT cured his tinnitus permanently with retigabine. His tinnitus was 6 months old. If tinnitus is the same whether its 6 months old or 5 years old, this means retigabine could be a permanent cure for RaZaH...given the right dose. ...hopeful, for all of us.

@RaZaH, take strength just imagine you take the trobalt at a sufficient strength and your tinnitus disappears forever wow...that's the dream we all want and it won't happen without trying good luck from all of us
