well, let's all hope we hear something good come out of the autifony trials. agreed, dannyboy is yet to come off RTG but at least he's been able to report undeniably good results and from quite early on. So it would be heartwarming for someone on autifony trials to tell us it's not just good...

can anybody guess the earliest we are optimisitcally likely to hear any feeback from the autifony trials? NOT from official figures but from individuals on the trial who post their progress for example if some trialee's tinnitus diasppeared, he or she might post it here to let us know.

Retigabine (Trobalt, Potiga) — General Discussion

to the best of one's knowledge dannyboy's story has probably been the most successful to date. and even if he needs to keep using it, many drug therapies can still be considered successful in such light if the goal is to bring relief.

Retigabine (Trobalt, Potiga) — General Discussion

Many people trying Trobalt are actually experiencing real measurable reductions in tinnitus and hyperacusis. Dannyboy, for example, has turned his life around, whilst others have clearly pointed out new lower levels. There is solid science behind trobalt to explain why these changes are...

hello my friend, hope you are okay it's interesting, a big enough dose of klonopin dampens my tinnitus/perception of it to make things more manageable, similar to lyrica it's not perfect but it's something i've just needed to find different classes of drugs to rotate it's tough right now, how...

Retigabine (Trobalt, Potiga) — General Discussion

the point is this approach leaves you very strong and stable, rather than being over-dependent on one drug. taken once in a while, lyrica and klonopin are VERY powerful suppressors of tinnitus. The mistake is to take them everyday.

wow, trobalt sounds like a miracle drug + it's working on tinnitus which is OVER 2 years old. are there any other similar cases? note: 100mg is low dose. maybe a higher dose would make effect last longer/even permanent?

Retigabine (Trobalt, Potiga) — General Discussion

from what i read in the european journal of pharmacology paper (Calvin Wu,2014), the dosage needs to be a minimum of 1200 to work effectively to shut down tinnitus. maybe well see better results from more people at the therapeutic dosage.

MPT cured his tinnitus permanently with retigabine. His tinnitus was 6 months old. If tinnitus is the same whether its 6 months old or 5 years old, this means retigabine could be a permanent cure for RaZaH...given the right dose. ...hopeful, for all of us.

nearly every prescription drug i've taken has an endless list of potentially nasty side effects, it all depends how desperate you are...some are lucky if they can take it or leave it. anyway the blue side effect is i believe very high dose long term, not too relevant, and IMO a small price to...
