Are These Painkillers (Voltaren and Pinex Forte) Safe?

The operation seem to have had no effect on my shoulder and im "back to basic" again 1.5 year after @Eric N . I did not take the voltaren but took paracetamol when the pain got bottersome. Since the inflammation is back my docktor wants me to try a heavy 7 days voltaren cure, but to be honest...

Pollen Allergies, What Pills to Take?

Thanks for the tip! Seems the site does not list side effects but rather shows people WITH tinnitus who reports it worsening? Anyways it seems like both fexofenadine and Zyrtec are equals with the “ototoxic “ effects being dizziness and nothing about Tinnitus as a side effect. That’s at least a...

Pollen Allergies, What Pills to Take?

I’ve read that you mentioned in an earlier post that fexofenadine had tinnitus mentioned as a side effect @glynis ? But when I read the side effects there is no tinnitus listed at all? After reading abit more about Zyrtec and fexofenadine they seem almost identical with Zyrtec giving abit more...

Pollen Allergies, What Pills to Take?

Well i cant find anything specific relating fexofenadine with ototoxicicity so that might be the safest bet yet? We also have it in norway under the name Telfast so might give it a try then instead of risking anything with Zyrtec

Pollen Allergies, What Pills to Take?

Zyrtec seems to be the most common for allergies and i really need some relief for my pollen allergies right now. I can’t find anything about tinnitus on the side effects in the package, but when I Google Zyrtec and tinnitus it says that it is ototoxic and this not recommended. What to do?

I Possibly Have a Stress Fracture. I Refuse to Do an MRI.

CT and x-Rays are not loud at all from my experience. Ive done several from head to toe and had bad H for a long time. The MRI is loud and usually lasts for 20min, its smart to use or buy some ear plugs for this one :)

    So, What Sound Is Next?

Greetings all! So to start with I have no idea how my tinnitus started. No hearing loss and healthy. From my years with tinnitus which started as a barely noticeable ringing sound in my right ear I now have: -High, low and mid ranged tones, buzzing and ringing in both ears -pulsatile “ufo”...

Are These Painkillers (Voltaren and Pinex Forte) Safe?

Thanks for the reply :) I try to read but there are so many opionins and information my head spins out Voltaren(diclofenac) is a 6 day cure with 50mg 3 times a day. This is the one i do not like the most since it has T listed as I side effect, but then again there’s really no substitute...

Are These Painkillers (Voltaren and Pinex Forte) Safe?

Hello all. Just had shoulder operation and I got some pills to ease my days. They are Voltaren and Pinex Forte (which has codeine in it and is ototoxic as I have read?) I just don’t want to do any stupid “gambling” taking these pill, but since my tinnitus is somatic and gradually worsening I’m...

    Vibrating / Humming Feeling

Alright, that is quite different from mine then.. i dont feel like the "humming sound/vibration" react to sounds or movement and is kind of "constant" when im in silent areas like the bedroom / bathroom etc.. Its not easy seeing any connections with anything T related i think. Atleast for me...

Hello again! So over a Year and a half has gone by and it's still quite a ride with this T. The most frightening part isn't actually the tones, but lately as of the past...

How Does Sound Absorbing Room Work Like?

I don't have any good answers for the 2 first questions, but for number 3, i would recommend some custom earplugs ( they will surely come in handy some time). Its not always easy to know if you are gonna experiance loud noises, like shouting or whatever, so getting a pair of custom earplugs...

Does Anyone Have Any Experience with New Members to This "Awful Band"?

Hello there neighbor! :) As you say it is correct that there is quite alot of changes in the beginning. For me the high pitch started very low and got to be much higher the first year, but as time went i got used to it and actually quite comfortable with it since it was only in my right ear...

    Did Penicillin Worsen My Tinnitus?

I'm not sure what a macrolide is, but it was a 3 day cure. I can also see I wrote the thread headline wrong as it is a antibiotic, not penicillin. I read a bit more about azitrhomax and the side effect off tinnitus is listed as below rare and is not documented, even though it COULD be a side...
