@PeteJ Pretty simple... Just don’t eat or drink anything starting now. 5-6 weeks you shut your eyes and don’t wake up... I’m only 3 months in - if not improved at 6, that’s my plan.

@PeteJ Australian! If it was just a light switch on the wall how great it’d be... just flick the switch and over. If I lived in Canada it’d be a short drive across the border and obtain a firearm in the US if I it were me... definite and instant! I hear/see people who have died in the news ect...

@PeteJ I am where you are at. This is not a life. Plus I have extreme chronic back pain previous to tinnitus. In my country, it is impossible to get a firearm and if it were not the case it would be over as of now. Seriously considering other options. I go to bed each night wishing and hoping...

Can someone please shed light on best masking practice for sleep? I use a pink noise app and have it under my pillow. My ENT said this is ok. It’s not up loud at all, just enough to compete with the tinnitus. I sleep on my side and the Pink noise resonates through the pillow. Got a feeling this...

So it still has a physical effect? Or is it just now habit? I’ve just started a 15 and wondering how, if, duration it’s going to work..

@Chinmoku I already suffer chronic almost unmanageable pain from a back condition so this is now piled on top of that.. The future looked grim before this..as I’m basically bed ridden!

Any thoughts appreciated!! Names Drew. Male - 44 First real indication of tinnitus was the Saturday just gone, 3 days ago. A bit-a history! Had a barotrauma situation at 15-16 in a landing aircraft, remember it being pretty painful at the time but shock it off, never an issue after that...
