    Pipeline Therapeutics

Hope so man. Hyperacusis is terrible and hopefully it eliminates TTTS and ear spasms, the facial nerve pain I get from it is insane.

Frequency Therapeutics — Hearing Loss Regeneration

If it gave me my hearing back and stopped the spasms, I'd get shots bi-weekly xD
  3. F

Frequency Therapeutics — Hearing Loss Regeneration

For just once I think we'd all like to see some positive news on FX-322. Just give us one successful trial. That's all. After years of torture, is that too much to ask?

Otonomy OTO-6XX — Hair Cell Regeneration

Could you please post the email or conversation?

Inner Ear Hair Cell Regeneration — Maybe We Can Know More

I thought they were also working on implanting transdifferentiated hair cells as well?
  6. F

Inner Ear Hair Cell Regeneration — Maybe We Can Know More

Implantable hair cells would be amazing, with that we know we could potentially get all of our hearing back and then some. Non-somatic tinnitus can kiss its ass goodbye.

    What about RL-81?

Frequency Therapeutics — Hearing Loss Regeneration

I still feel dead after yesterday. What do we do now?
  10. F

Frequency Therapeutics — Hearing Loss Regeneration

10000% it's effed if the trial got screwed due to selfish people trying to game the system.
  11. F

Frequency Therapeutics — Hearing Loss Regeneration

I wouldn't doubt it. I'm not a conspiracy theorist but this is highly likely. If you're making six figures and barely qualified to express canine rectal glands, and then something comes along threatening to take away your bread and butter, what would you do?
  12. F

Frequency Therapeutics — Hearing Loss Regeneration

I agree, this is deflating to the highest degree. Time to take a news break. My mental health can't take much more of this for now.
  13. F

Frequency Therapeutics — Hearing Loss Regeneration

This is literally why the majority of this forum HATE audiologists. They are not doctors. They are not qualified human beings, nor qualified for anything other than being hearing aid salespeople. Going off this, any person on this forum could have ran this better than the audiologist you mentioned.

Frequency Therapeutics — Hearing Loss Regeneration

That's not from Frequency Therapeutics though, that's from Novartis.
  15. F

Frequency Therapeutics — Hearing Loss Regeneration

This is literally life destroying news. Hopefully OTO-6xx comes through.

    Sound Pharmaceuticals (SPI-5557 & SPI-1005)

You are the real MVP. I hope it comes through for you.
  17. F

Frequency Therapeutics — Hearing Loss Regeneration

I could just be talking out of my ass but in my opinion Frequency Therapeutics should just buy Otonomy. They have the cash and Otonomy's market cap is really low right now. That would end the gel issue and give them a speech in noise and tinnitus drug all under one better managed roof.

Otonomy OTO-413 — Treatment of Hidden Hearing Loss

Well, let's hope Otonomy can fund everything else in their pipeline or find another willing investor.

DMSO & Magnesium Oil for Tonic Tensor Tympani Syndrome (TTTS)

My latest trauma was about 13 months ago. Improvements have been extremely slow, the most notable started about 5 months ago though it was only as of last month that my loudness hyperacusis stopped and my migraines from it reduced about 90%. I still have both constant and reactive spasms and...
  20. F

Otonomy OTO-413 — Treatment of Hidden Hearing Loss

Personally I hope it's just that they wanted to up the dosage and as per usual the Failed Drug Administration said no, like they did with OTO-313. If this is the case, I'd come out swinging and triple to quadruple the dose.
  21. F

DMSO & Magnesium Oil for Tonic Tensor Tympani Syndrome (TTTS)

Apologies all on not following up with this. I completely completely forgot about it until now. I continued this routine for 3 weeks after my post and saw no further improvement. I still continue to have TTTS and pain hyperacusis albeit not as bad and my loudness hyperacusis is gone. Things are...

Otonomy OTO-413 — Treatment of Hidden Hearing Loss

10000%. It worked perfectly the first time. High doses saw 57% improvement and placebo saw 0%. How much time and money do these people want to waste?

Elon Musk’s Neuralink Looking to Treat Tinnitus

This thing could teleport me into a virtual world where the only thing we do is play Mario Kart for eternity. As long as I'm hearing loss and tinnitus free, I'm good.
  24. F

Frequency Therapeutics — Hearing Loss Regeneration

Not necessarily. My last acoustic trauma didn't set in until the day after. It was as if all of a sudden out of nowhere my ears locked up and everything became distorted. I felt perfectly fine waking up, even made breakfast and coffee, then by noon it was hell on earth and I had no idea what...

Frequency Therapeutics — Hearing Loss Regeneration

If FX-322 could over improve hearing, I'd get so many shots that by the end of 90 days I'd be screaming out my window for the ants at end of the block to shut the f#$% up and love every second of it.

New University of Michigan Tinnitus Discovery — Signal Timing

Just from reading the criteria, this thing sounds like a bust and looks more and more like Susie's been milking UMichigan for all she can get. Lenire 2.0 incoming.

Frequency Therapeutics — Hearing Loss Regeneration

I'm not sure whether regrowing hair cells will stop inflammation but SPI-1005 should and it will most likely be out before FX-322.
  28. F

Frequency Therapeutics — Hearing Loss Regeneration

I'd go full Breaking Bad in this scenario.
  29. F

Frequency Therapeutics — Hearing Loss Regeneration

I wish I could but my TTTS disqualifies me. My dad however fits the bill perfectly. I think the more people that this forum can get into the trial, the better. And the faster the trial fills up, the faster it gets completed and FX-322 becomes available.
  30. F

Frequency Therapeutics — Hearing Loss Regeneration

It means Phase 3 isn't until 2022. Currently FX-322 is in Phase 2a, with two Phase 1b studies being run alongside of it.
  31. F

Frequency Therapeutics — Hearing Loss Regeneration

Yes, pivotal trial will be the last. It depends on how early they start, how quickly they can fill the trial up, and whether or not they keep the trial at 210 days or if the results are good enough and they can reduce it down to 90 days.
  32. F

Frequency Therapeutics — Hearing Loss Regeneration

I hope they have a huge backlog of eligible patients for when they start so they can fill it up and finish it ASAP and perhaps cut the study time from 210 days to 90 days. 2023 is going to be lit.
  33. F

Frequency Therapeutics — Hearing Loss Regeneration

Agreed, it's a hearing regenerating drug, not Oxycontin, it should be available upon request. Personally I'll be paying out of pocket but, I'm afraid scamsurance if they do opt to cover treatment with FX-322, they will most likely want the audiograms done.
  34. F

Frequency Therapeutics — Hearing Loss Regeneration

100% facts. And really, not testing more frequencies even on a standard audiogram is just a complete and total industry wide fail.
  35. F

Prof. Thanos Tzounopoulos Receives $2 Million Grant

Yeah my money's on that we'll have hearing regenerative drugs long before RL-81 sees Phase 2. I hope RL-81 works well too. With tinnitus we could all use as many treatments and solutions as possible.

    Auris Medical IPO

I'd be down for it. Not an anti-vaxxer but for now I remain skeptical about these new rushed vaccines. I'd like to give it a year or two to see the results, so something like this could work in the interim.

Hough Ear Institute's Hair Cell Regeneration Project

    Trash company.
  38. F

Hough Ear Institute's Hair Cell Regeneration Project

Agreed, Hough Ear Institute is done - in terms of synapse medicines OTO-413 will smoke it, and as an otoprotectant SPI-1005 will be out years before it. Personally I wouldn't worry about its safety consumption wise as it's just two different antioxidants in a pill and one of them you can buy...

The Bionics Institute Claim They Have Found a Way of Objectively Measuring Tinnitus

That's just awesome, so now no one will know...
  40. F

Hough Ear Institute's Hair Cell Regeneration Project

They have been super shady lately, not even a single word on progress or a word on what they are doing, other than straight panhandling. When established multimillion dollar companies need to beg to get funding for their product it just raises all kinds of red flags.

Something might be wrong. I can't get anything but a single page.
  43. F

Otonomy OTO-413 — Treatment of Hidden Hearing Loss

My thoughts exactly, that's one too many tinnitus solutions, better shut it all down. Someone better call Frequency Therapeutics to and let them know.
  44. F

Otonomy OTO-413 — Treatment of Hidden Hearing Loss

This is true but you could require both drugs in both ears in order to eliminate tinnitus or reduce it. Which we won't know until both of these drugs are out.

Diclofenac Is the Devil: DO NOT Take It If You Have Tinnitus or Hyperacusis

Unfortunately not. Just be cautious and do research on whatever you're putting into your body.

Diclofenac Is the Devil: DO NOT Take It If You Have Tinnitus or Hyperacusis

It sucks to say but most anti inflammatory drugs and supplements are ototoxic. Some much more than others. Hope you get better man.
  47. F

Otonomy OTO-413 — Treatment of Hidden Hearing Loss

Right behind you on that. I have insomnia, trigeminal neuralgia and migraines all from hyperacusis. A little ear discomfort is nothing.
  48. F

Otonomy OTO-413 — Treatment of Hidden Hearing Loss

OMG why does everyone here care so much about tinnitus? Just buy a fan and live with it (sarcasm).
  49. F

Otonomy OTO-413 — Treatment of Hidden Hearing Loss

It should get Fast Track designation at the bare minimum.

New University of Michigan Tinnitus Discovery — Signal Timing

Actually there is a professor at Harvard working on a project to regrow new disks for the jaw joint. I can't speak too much about the neck but there are a lot of companies working on regenerating and remyelinating nerves, so I really hope those help.
  52. F

Otonomy OTO-413 — Treatment of Hidden Hearing Loss

That's great that it works. I imagine it will work even better if both ears are treated because in general you need both for speech in noise.

Legislation to Help Prevent Tinnitus (Legal Limits on Volume, Warning Signs, etc.)

Simple solution: Relentlessly extremely high fines with zero tolerance that scale like speeding. 1 dB over 80 dB $10,000. 10 dB over $150,000 fine etc. Classify it as reckless debt so you have to pay it even after bankruptcy and assets seized until the debt is paid. Incentives paid to...

Based off that you're extremely likely to be fine.
  55. F

Frequency Therapeutics — Hearing Loss Regeneration

You don't. Support cells are very durable and stick around long after a hair cell has died. Support cells can still die if exposed to continuously loud noises or under other conditions. The general consensus is the less hearing loss you have the more support cells you'll likely still have, so as...
  56. F

Frequency Therapeutics — Hearing Loss Regeneration

They're also growing implantable hair cells, which is what I'm referring to. FX-322 should cover almost everyone's needs but it never hurts to have many working solutions for a problem or at least a backup.
  57. F

Frequency Therapeutics — Hearing Loss Regeneration

Yes as long as it's from a decline in hair cells and you still have support cells.
  58. F

Frequency Therapeutics — Hearing Loss Regeneration

I mean if they work which Rinri Therapeutics stated they do and increased hearing by 40% in preclinical models and if some people don't have any or enough support cells to fully restore hearing, these could work quite nicely, especially for filling in any gaps.
