Airplane Noise Very Early in the Morning — Can You Get Used to It?

Not sure why, but I am noticing more the airplanes taking off at 4am from an airport about 10 miles away. They have been waking me up for the past week. Before that, I barely heard them. I would hear them occasionally during the day but not at 4am. Anyone here have this kind of experience? Do...

Does the Shower or Shower Fan Make Anyone's Tinnitus Louder?

I'm the same way. After taking a shower, most of the time, my T is very quiet for about an hour. I am guessing that the high pitched sounds of the water echoing in the shower might be helping to fill in the high pitch sounds I can hear less of??

It is on Netflix. There will be a part where you might understand why I am suggesting you watch this. It was amazing. I can't say more because I don't want to give it away, but believe me, it is relevant to those on this forum. Be patient, it will take a while.

I find that sleep is key. You might ask yourself, how can I sleep if I have this ringing in my ears. Well, get some medication to help. Turn on some music or a talk show (I find talk shows easier to sleep to since it distracts my mind better than predictable sound waves. And, it's like you are...

    Pregabalin (Lyrica)

Looking back now, I am thinking that Lyrica actually might be the cause of my hearing loss which has brought about my T. Has Anyone Found Lyrica (Pregabalin) to Cause Hearing Loss Leading to Tinnitus?

I've been thinking back before the time I was diagnosed with mild hearing loss. They say it could be age related, but I am "only" 48. I remember taking 75 mg a day of Lyrica. I've read the official side effects, but I cannot find hearing loss as one of them. However, it seems like there is a...
